Time to Rest: How To Regulate After A Busy Season Of Ministry
Sometimes after a busy season, we can have a hard time turning off “survival mode.” We try to quiet our minds or get our emotions under control, but it doesn’t seem to work. For some reason, we still feel the need to go and do, like a toy that can’t seem to turn off. Anxiety seems to be around every corner. When this experience occurs, we need to regulate, which is different from recovery. In this episode, Elisabeth and Jeremy share a few regulation techniques they learned from their therapists to help be present in stressful and post-stressful situations…which comes in handy after “that” meeting. 🙂
