halftime: the art of the pivot

Halftime: The Art of the Pivot

July 2021

July is one of our favorite times of the year because it naturally provides a breaking point between the first half of the year and the second. It’s a halftime, so-to-speak, that creates a place to pivot.

We look back and ask ourselves: What did we like professionally? Personally? What did we dislike? What needs to change? Then we look forward and ask: What do we hope will happen? What change can we make that’s within our control?

The pivot can make all the difference in the world and one way to do so is with three simple steps:

  1.  schedule a moment for yourself
  2. ask the LORD for insight
  3. look back, look forward, evaluate, & make the necessary changes. We believe it’s a practice worth your time and energy.

Thank you for the privilege of partnering with you in ministry and we hope your people enjoy this month’s content.

HOW TO TRAIN PARENTS TO BE VOLUNTEERS

Many ministry leaders hold fast to the theory that college students make the best volunteers. Yes, they bring a serious amount of energy, but what if you could have a little more? What if you had a mixture of college studentswithparents who bring safety, responsibility, and wisdom? You may wonder…can parents love other kids like they love their own?

In this coaching video, Jeremy Lee gives you practical and strategic ways to cast a vision to parents so they will become some of your most vital and faithful volunteers!
